Amfenac-d5 Sodium Hydrate is a deuterated form of Amfenac Sodium Hydrate that is commonly used as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for the treatment of pain and inflammation. It works by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes that are responsible for producing prostaglandins, which are inflammatory mediators. Amfenac-d5 Sodium Hydrate is a potent inhibitor of both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, making it an effective medication for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and postoperative pain.
