Overview
"Isotope labelled (+)-trans-anti-BPDE-N2-dG is used in the study of carcinogen-DNA adducts and their role in affecting eukaryotic DNA methyltransferases. Cluster-type DNA damage is often seen in DNA and is usually skipped by base excision repair. Also, as a common concern due to tobacco smoke, this compound used to obtain a better understanding of the effects of carcinnogen-DNA adducts."
