Application Notes

(R)-(+)-Thiolactomycin-d3 is the isotope labelled analog of (R)-(+)-Thiolactomycin (T350880); a natural product inhibitor of ß-Ketoacyl-AcpM Synthase A (KasA). It inhibits the synthesis of mycolic acid which is a major cell wall component of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Also an inhibitor of D-Aspartate oxidase (DDO).
