(S)-Valiolamine Voglibose is the main S-enantiomeric intermediate of Voglibose, an ฮฑ-glucosidase inhibitor that works by delaying the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, thereby inhibiting postprandial hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia.
