Coenzyme A S-Pyrazinecarboxylate-d3 is the isotope labelled analog of Coenzyme A S-Pyrazinecarboxylate (C636415); a derivative of Coenzyme A (C636400) which is a cofactor in enzymatic acetyl transfer reactions. It is the source of the phosphopantetheine group that is added as a prosthetic group to proteins such as acyl carrier protein and formyltetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase.
