(All-Z)-7,10,13,16,19-Docosapentaenoic Acid Methyl Ester is used in analytical studies to evaluate the retention behavior of polyunsaturated fatty acid methyl esters on porous graphitic carbon via liquid chromatography. This analog is a methyl derivative of all-cis-7,10,13,16,19-Docosapentaenoic Acid (D494460) which is a fatty acid that is derived from fish oils which potently inhibits platelet aggregation."
