Enalaprilat-d5 (phenyl-d5) usage and description
Enalaprilat-d5 (phenyl-d5) is a deuterated form of Enalaprilat, which is a medication used to treat hypertension, heart failure, and diabetic kidney disease. Enalaprilat is a prodrug that is converted to its active form, Enalaprilat, in the liver. Enalaprilat-d5 (phenyl-d5) is chemically identical to Enalaprilat but has five deuterium atoms in the phenyl group, which makes it useful in pharmacokinetic studies and drug metabolism research.
Enalaprilat-d5 (phenyl-d5) can be administered intravenously to patients who cannot take oral medication.
