N-Formylbisoprolol usage and description
N-Formylbisoprolol (NFB) is a beta-blocker drug that is commonly used to treat hypertension, angina, and other cardiovascular conditions. It works by blocking the beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart, which reduces the heart rate and blood pressure. NFB is chemically related to bisoprolol, which is also a beta-blocker drug but without the formyl group.

NFB is a white or off-white crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents like methanol and ethanol.
