Application Notes
Triarachidonin-d5 is labelled Triarachidonin (T767335) which is the triacylgylcerol derivative or Arachidonic Acid (A765000). Studies show that Triarachidonin stimulated prostaglandin synthesis in the kidney in a dose dependent manner. Triarachidonin as well as other polyunsaturated fatty acids have been shown to inhibit hepatic stearoyl-CoA desaturase-1 gene in diabetic mice.
