Triphenyl phosphate is also added to some nail polishes as a replacement for the plasticizer Dibutyl Phthalate (D429495). Diphenyl Phosphate (D492000), a metabolite of triphenyl phosphate increased sharply in the urine of women 10-14 hours after they painted their nails with polish containing triphenyl phosphate."
